The idea for "The Wish" was concieved from a fortune cookie fortune.

Once a month at our weekly Iowa Digital Filmmakers Guild meeting at the Peking Buffet in Iowa City we pick a monthly theme from that meetings fortune cookies. We give ourselves thirty days to come up with a script.
